We’re constantly working to reduce our environmental impact. With the “Remanufacturing Program”, we give you the chance to do your bit for the planet by trading-in old GM parts for new or remanufactured parts and save more along the way.
The GM Remanufacturing Program is a parts exchange program where the customer trades-in the damaged part in return for a remanufactured one at a discounted rate.
Remanufacturing is a comprehensive and intensive industrial process by a GM-certified remanufacturer, and/or the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), which a previously sold worn-out, or non-functional product or component is returned to an upgraded condition and warranted in performance level and quality.
Not all GM parts are remanufactured. GM Middle East imports a variety of remanufactured parts. This will expand as technology improves and allows for the remanufacturing of more and more parts.
In our region, we only focus on reusing commonly selected parts such as gearboxes, steering gears, alternators and engines, along with parts in the collision family such as bumpers, headlamps, tail lamps, etc.
Yes, each remanufactured part that is installed by a GM certified workshop receives the same warranty coverage as a new part.
All GM remanufactured parts meet the highest standard of GM quality and are rebuilt to state-of-the-art performance specification.
A remanufactured part’s box is labeled as remanufactured. The description of the part on the invoice supplied to the customer clearly states it’s a remanufactured part in both English and Arabic.
